My name is Ambassador Dennis Francis, President of the United Nations General Assembly. I work closely with the Department of the Treasury Bureau of Unclaimed Property Regulations here in Washington, D.C. It has come to my attention that an unclaimed payment, originally meant to be remitted to you, has recently resurfaced in my office. This may be due to unforeseen circumstances that prevented you from completing previous transactions, either locally or internationally. I have taken the initiative to contact you before this payment is marked for forfeiture. You still have the opportunity to claim it.

The National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA), in collaboration with the United Nations, is currently spearheading a global initiative to reunite unclaimed funds and properties with their rightful owners. NAUPA serves as the leading authority on unclaimed property and is working with a coalition of administrators to facilitate this process. Currently, U.S. states, federal agencies, and other organizations collectively hold over $58 billion in unclaimed cash and benefits. These funds originate from various sources, such as abandoned bank accounts, unclaimed life insurance payouts, forgotten pension benefits, legal settlements, inheritance claims, and even unclaimed lottery winnings.

Our records indicate that you are listed as the beneficiary of $8.5 million. To initiate your claim and receive further details on how to proceed, please contact this office directly.

Subject: URGENT – Already Received My Payment!

Dear Ambassador Dennis Francis,

Wow, I’m so relieved to finally hear from you! I was starting to think something had gone wrong, especially since I already received my $8.5 million last week. It was quite the process, I tell you—meeting your associate at the airport, shaking hands with that very official-looking llama (I assume it’s part of United Nations protocol?), and signing that document in invisible ink. But alas, all went smoothly!

I must admit, though, I am a little concerned. Are you telling me there is another $8.5 million waiting for me? This is highly irregular, as I certainly don’t recall inheriting that much money twice. I hope there’s not a glitch in your system—last time this happened, I accidentally ended up in a legally binding contract to purchase an island. Long story short, it’s currently occupied by a community of sentient coconut crabs, and I don’t want to repeat that fiasco.

Please confirm immediately whether this is indeed a second payment. If so, I assume I should head back to the airport? Will the llama be there again? I still have the ceremonial cape, if required.
